February 1 - 30 days from today – is my 30th birthday. As I considered this date, I decided to mark the milestone with a unique project – something that would contribute to the community that has given me so much. I am writing today to ask you – my family, friends, and colleagues – to join me by supporting Charity Thirty©.
Charity Thirty© is a campaign to raise $30,000 in 30 days to benefit 6 outstanding not-for-profit organizations in the Denver area. These charities are excellent, efficient and effective, addressing important issues across our community – helping at-risk youth access their dreams, giving students an early start to a strong future, and serving those struggling with disease or addiction. I am personally invested in each of these organizations and I am proud that they are involved with this project. The six Charity Thirty© beneficiaries are:
I am very proud to announce that Rose Community Foundation, a leader in both Denver’s philanthropic sector and Jewish community, is Charity Thirty©’s official foundation partner and will be processing all gifts associated with this campaign. Rose has graciously waived its management fee for the “AHF Charity Thirty© Fund,” so 100% of all donations will be equally divided among the 6 not-for-profit partners.
This project is ambitious, but I was raised to value philanthropy and I know that, together, we can achieve this goal.
